Spyware Blockers Guide

Spyware is everywhere and should be avoided at all cost. They piggyback on other programs and websites just waiting to be secretly installed on your computer. These programs can not only slow your computer down but they can replace legitimit ads online with ads from the spyware creator.

When searching for a spyware blocker be aware that some programs pose as being spyware scanners but in fact are scams themselves. I suggest you check the domain name you are on before downloading anything to be sure it is a trusted source.

Here are a few domain names I would personally trust: symantec.com, norton.com, microsoft.com, download.com, pctools.com, mcafee.com, stopzilla.com, aol.com, barracudanetworks.com and trendmicro.com.

Sometimes antivirus programs will include spyware protection. Trend Micro AntiVirus + AntiSpyware and Norton Antivirus 2010 to name a couple.
